Bestar is an industry leader in the design and manufacture of ready-to-assemble home office and home entertainment furniture. Its head office and manufacturing facility are located in Lac-Megantic, Quebec, Canada. The company started by making the first ready-to-assemble furniture in Canada — a small bookcase to hold encyclopedias. The encyclopedias were sold door-to-door. When a customer purchased a set, the bookcase was given as a free gift!
Over the years, Bestar developed the habit of being first in many aspects of its business. In 1991, Bestar was the first company in the ready-to-assemble (RTA) industry to introduce thermofused melamine work surfaces, an industry standard for durability.
Today Bestar offers a great selection of office and home entertainment furniture including TV stands, home entertainment centers, and modular desk systems.

The desk arrived quickly and packaged very well. Once put together, the desk looked amazing. The only downside was that the instructions were difficult to understand and we have some trouble actually putting this together. All worked out in the end though and I have an amazing piece of furniture now.

Super excellent choice for a desk, It arrived earlier than expected. It is very affordable. It is very easy to assemble which was a nice surprise. It is very sturdy and we have it in our dining room and alot of people have even commented how nice our new desk is and said they could not believe how nice the desk is and how it is very attractive and the space is incredible on it with also having storage. It is an excellent choice and we are so glad we bought this desk and you will too!!! Highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nice desk that is very affordable but want a nice sturdy attractive desk with lots of storage.

Good product with a serious flaw

Edge of desk has a sharp angle. It should be tapered or beveled for comfort. This is main cause for not recommending an otherwise very, very good product for the $. Also, a slight design error makes the "file drawer difficult to assemble and adjust. Pluses are good looks, drawer slides, size (just right) and ease of assembly (except file drawer).
BOTTOM LINE No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I had a very narrow space next to my bed where I had my computer on a small folding stand. This definitely didn't do it for me but I thought I didn't have room for more. Then I found this gem online. I am thrilled beyond belief. It fits my space perfectly. Now I have real working space and a smooth gliding file drawer. I couldn't be happier.
