Some people have commented that the seat is pitched a little forward, which it is very slightly, but I find that it is still quite comfortable and it encourages good posture. I am amusician and I use this as a performance chair, so the geometry is perfect. Its a little light, so its easy to transport, but it will probably wear out quickly. The cost is so low, however, that I plan to replace it every year or so.

I have a back injury which makes standing for long periods painful, and the slight stoop to the kitchen counter or sink is the worst. I purchased this perching stool for my kitchen and it is such a relief! I have the seat set very high, so I am almost standing. It is light weight and easy to move around one-handed, but the way the seat and support leg latch onto the main pole it is extremely stable. It is not designed for sitting, rather you are partially standing but with relief for your back as you perch your rear against the stool.

We bought 2 chairs: they are lightweight and very compact for storage. They fold out easily with one hand, and work beautifully for our needs. However, they are not extremely comfortable for long periods of sitting. Great for the price!

Very sturdy construction and easy to carry to site. Investigating a larger padded seat for more comfort. It is almost as comfortable as my home made Denver clone chair. I recommend this chair if you don't have 3 extra days to build your own.

It needs a rubber to stay closed, but it is small (does not need too much space), opens easily, is comfortable & very practical for many uses; sit a child at the table for example.
