While my kids love this toy it's a huge mess. The rain always gets in under the lids. They sand gets really wet then it doesn't dry. The sand side is filled with rain pretty much every time we open it up. I have bail the water out in order for them to play.

Kids love it! We like how the back hoe wont dump sand beyon the sides of the table, it keeps all the sand contained. Being from the Central Valley in CA the umbrella is a great thought!

we have only had this a week, but our son really likes it. we had the problem that we covered the 'sand' side, but left the 'water' side uncovered in the rain. the water from the water side rose up and leaked into the sand side and we had to wait several days for it to dry up.
BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
