For that price I expected something simple and with a simple look. Instead, everything seems high quality: the frame looks and feels really nice and well built. As always, before writing on a chalkboard, I smeared the entire surface with a chalk, holding it on its side, so no scratch can happen. After that, I wiped it clean and wrote my first special. It looks great!

I wish it had come with some instructions on how to mount the chalkboard. I was clueless as to which nails to use, do I use anchors in the wall. Some tips like that would help. I received it two weeks ago and it's still in the box.

The overall constuction of the chalk board is good, Maybe it was the chalk that was used, but I purchased the board and the chalk& eraser together and the eraser does not erase, and the chalk scratches the surface.

We've mounted it in our son's room. He's two and he loves it. We draw pictures and he identifies them and he also "writes and draws" himself. I don't think it's sturdy enough for classroom use but it's perfect for home use. It's a little bit hard to clean but not impossible. Overall, it's good value for the price. I researched other websites and this was the best price I could find.
